Rudy Gomez, 65, of Fort Myers and formerly of San Antonio, TX, Gained his Angel wings Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Fort Myers.ย He was born March 22, 1956 in Immokalee, FL. To father Roman L Gomez and Maria I Garza Gomez.
Rudy was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed operating heavy equipment at big construction sites. He loved watching western movies, the cooking channel, football games, listening to music, and going fishing.
He is survived by his loving mother, Maria I Gomez of Ft. Myers; three children, Eliza Goode (Ralph) Rudy Gomez, Jr. (Veronica) and Amelia Gomez; three sisters, Yolanda Buitron (Rey) of Lehigh Acres, Norma Nieto (Armando) of Immokalee and Diana Flores (Conrad) of Raymondville, TX; two brothers, Roman Gomez, Jr. (Virginia) of Omaha, NE and Victor Gomez of Lehigh Acres. 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Along with many extended family and friends.
Rudy was preceded in death by his father, Roman L. Gomez in 2017.
Calling hours will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Mullins Memorial,ย 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL 33916ย with Funeral Service to begin at 2:00 PM. Cremation will be final deposition.

We will surely miss Rudy, although we didnโt get to see him for quite some time. Our family often remembers the times growing up together and migrating up the road w/my fatherr(HL Gomez).
