Ruth was of the Christian faith. She loved Jesus and looked forward to being at his side in Heaven when God called her. Ruth had a warm heart and a beautiful smile that was infectious and would light up a room. Ruth always had understanding and compassion for others and enjoyed helping others when she could. She was a devoted wife, mother & friend. She will be greatly missed for a long time by all who knew her.
Early in Ruth and Tom’s retirement they enjoyed traveling to most of the state parks across the country during the summers. Once Ruth and Tom were done camping across America, they took up fishing in the Gulf for Grouper. Ruth was an accomplished fisher woman and loved the thrill of the catch followed by a tasty fish fry. Ruth’s other hobby was shopping. She loved to shop and was always a great dresser. Ruth was a beautiful lady inside and out.
