Sean Archilles

Sean Archilles, 14, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, FL passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 in Fort Myers. He was born March 28, 2002 in Fort Myers.

Citygate Ministries in Fort Myers is where Sean established his church family for the past four years. Sean’s strong faith and beliefs in Jesus Christ led him to be a disciple to many. He led the life of an ornery teen while having a heart for Jesus. During his short life he has touched the lives of many with his heart warming smile, charismatic personality and special tenderness for children and elderly in the community as well as a compassionate friend to his peers. Sean was a faithful participant in the Youth ministry at Citygate Ministries. He attended Crossover activities on a regular basis. Sean enjoyed serving in the Vacation Bible School and often helped at Royal Palm Towers for senior citizens doing everything from yard work to celebrations. When the opportunity allowed, Sean was a part of the Rock the Block activities helping the Southward Village Community picking up trash, entertaining the young children or distributing food. Above all the first and foremost activity in his life was membership on the King of Kings basketball team. Being the star defensive player and the toughest all-around player made Sean a key component to the team’s success. Without a doubt Sean’s trademarks of two mismatched socks and being the loudest supporter of the team will never be forgotten. His dedication to the King of Kings basketball program and bold faith allows us to be rest assured that Sean now resides peacefully with the true King of Kings, Jesus Christ!

Sean is survived by his loving mother, Delina Lubin of Fort Myers and his loving father, Jean Archilles of Lehigh Acres; three loving brothers, John W. Francois, Verly J. Francois and Dsean Archilles, all of Fort Myers; maternal grandmother, Louisiane Jean of Fort Myers; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Citygate Ministries, 1735 Jackson St., Fort Myers, FL 33901 with Pastor David Pleasant officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM Friday, August 5, 2016 at Citygate Ministries.
