It doesn’t seems that long ago a little boy walked into my sister’s house when I was there and yelled, “UNCLE CHIP!” and wrapped his little arms around me.
We didn’t know then what a big impact we would have in each other’s lives.
You made me be a better man Shad.❤️

Shad was an amazing person. We have been friends for over 20 years. No matter what.. life brought us separate ways. However, it also brought us back together when we really needed friendship. My heart hurts so bad because I feel selfish. I wish I could have done more. I will forever remember all the amazing memories through our younger years. Your favorite saying….

    ” I’m Shad Washburn, 3 x state champion.”

Always. And thats the Shad I’m going to remember. The strong, funny and loving guy, who always made people laugh.

Fly high my friend.. you will forever be in my heart.

I was/am deeply saddened to learn of Shad’s passing. I hadn’t been in touch with Shad for many years, but tried to keep up with him on Facebook. Shad was an instrumental friend in my life in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Shad was small in stature, but made up for it in personality. His smile was mesmerizing and his laugh was contagious. I pray for peace and comfort for his family during this devastating time. Rest Easy, Shad Logan.❤️

My heart aches to hear of Shad’s passing. Dustin and I had so much fun with Shad. There are so many great memories and stories I could share. I’ll never forget just pulling over and jumping out of the car to just dance in the down pouring rain. The world lost a champion and my condolences are with Linda, Terry Lee, Katrina and Reina. Love, good vibes and hugs from Michigan ❤
