Sharon and I met at the Block Cancer Center in Skokie, Il. She was a kind woman who fed me soup when I couldn’t take care of myself. She recruited with gusto members of an email group we had formed. She was a bright spark who brought life with her wherever she went. She will be greatly missed.

Sharon was such a sweet, kind, prayerful soul and I am SO saddened by her passing. We met at the Block Center and the nearby hotel as our treatment times often overlapped. I was always excited to see her and we shared many conversations, prayers and meals together pre-CoVid. She was dedicated to praying for her fellow cancer peers and I’m forever grateful for that consistent kindness. I’m so sorry for your loss….Marty, her children, siblings and grandchildren. I know her angelic presence will watch over all of you and I’m blessed to have had her as one of my dearest cancer friends. May she Rest In Peace in the precious arms of God.

Sharon was one of the most fun, outgoing, smart people I’ve ever known. Her wit and sense of humor was 2nd to none. We had the great honor of both working with Sharon and socializing after her retirement. Never a dull moment. RIP Sharon.

Marty and family, I so sorry for your loss.

Sharon and I were colleagues at Kodak and crossed paths many times through the years. She was such a joy to be around. Always upbeat, patient and professional, and a kindred spirit in ever seeking ways to improve our work products and processes. I felt uplifted whenever the opportunity arose for us to collaborate or interact, I’m so glad I had the chance to know her.

My sympathies are with you at this difficult time. You, your family, and of course Sharon, are in my prayers.

Dear Marty and Family….so very sad to hear of Sharon’s passing. I echo the many thoughts others have posted here. Sharon was both very funny yet very serious when it came to caring for others, her honest concern for everyone’s well being. She tried her best with sheer will to live, but she will be loved by all the angels she is now being held by. I will miss our swims, we always did our 20 laps of the pool at Herons Glen, we talked and laughed most of that precious time!
    Never to be forgotten….
    Judy, and Paul.

To Sharon’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss.

I met Sharon shortly after she started her career at Kodak, in a little software engineering department where hardly anybody else had any clue about what we did.. I remember her as a very nice and kind person; But what I mostly remember is her great sense of humor. She was one of the most funny and fun people I knew.

Sharon, I’m sure you brightened many people’s lives over the course of your own. Rest in peace.

    Marty,
Nothing I can say will replace the empty feeling in our hearts. Buck would not want us to feel sad. Her faith carried her straight to heaven and she is no longer suffering. I will remember her for all the joy she added to my life. Her friendship of 50 years was filled with laughter, love, compassion, loyalty and understanding. We had some great times together traveling, parenting, going to old Forge and just hanging out. I don’t know if a friendship like ours can ever be replace so I will hold all of those treasured times in my heart. Love you Marty.
