Sharon Kay Williamson

September 30, 1955 - October 10, 2020

Sharon Kay Williamson, 65, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1985, formerly of West Virginia, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Fort Myers. She was born September 30, 1955 in Weirton, WV. raised in New Cumberland WV.

Sharon was of the Christian faith. She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, Robert Jay Williamson, of Fort Myers; loving mother, Velva Jones (Frank) of Fort Myers and New Cumberland, WV; daughter, Brianna Buffington (fiancé, Anthony Jones) of Fort Myers, three siblings, Susie Asselin (Don) of Fort Myers, Amy Joslin (Rick) of Fort Myers and  Fred Jones, Jr (Shelley) of Fort Myers, FL; two grandchildren, Arianna and Nathan; father-in-law, Frank Williamson of Fort Myers; several nieces and nephews; as well as three dogs and two cats.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Dean Jones, Sr.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2020 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916. Per CDC COVID-19 guidelines, Mullins Memorial suggests that all participants wear a mask. We remind everyone to maintain Social Distancing while in our facilities.

Memorial Contributions in memory of Sharon Kay Williamson are suggested to the Harry Chapin Food Bank, 3760 Fowler St., Fort Myers, FL 33901.

    Sharon was the most giving person and never expected anything in return…..Her laugh and smile were infectious and was was happy go lucky…….She was a very dear friend and will be missed……My heart is broken from this loss but knowing I have an angel watching over gives me some peace….My deepest sympathy to Sharon’s family….May God give you all strength through your loss…..Love you all!!!!!     Mike and I are so very sorry to hear of Sharon’s passing. She will be missed by so many. I loved her sense of humor. Sending our love and prayers to all of the family, especially Robert, Velva and Frank. Keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Much Love to you.
