Shawn Michael Young

Shawn Michael Young, 27, a Lee County, Florida resident since 1993, formerly of Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in Ft. Myers. He was born January 10, 1988 in Dallas Texas.

Shawn was of the Christian faith. He was a funny and personable guy, who always made everyone laugh. He really loved his children and was very good with them. He was also an extremely good cook, and prepared awesome meals, and loved to teach others how to cook. When he was a child he wanted to be an ambulance driver. He loved cars and had a dream of owning a Lamborghini, and was even nick named Lambro. He was an extremely talented writer, and should have written books, as his grammar skills and eloquence showed through in all of his writings. He always seemed to know the right thing to say to cheer other people up. Even as a young child, his vocabulary was very large as everything was “actually”. He had a huge heart and was very caring as well as charming. He loved animals also, and always had a dog or cat as a pet throughout his life. He will truly be missed by those who knew him and loved him. He will be remembered with a smile, as his smile was captivating and he knew how to make us smile. In loving memory we know that he is with the Lord now and is very happy and free of pain.

He is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Terri Young of Ft. Myers; three loving children; loving sister, Bailey Young of Bradenton; many loving grandparents; aunts and uncles; cousins; as well as other family and friends.
