Sheila made the world a better place. She gave love and kindness to every life she touched. She gave us faith in humanity when sometimes we would only see the worst. She had a work ethic like no other and only accepted the best for the ones she helped. She always put Ron and her children first and loved them more than life. She saved Ron and for the first time I saw him change into a Dad and husband. She was a true gift to all… even if it was only for a short time.
Fly high sweet angel . 💖💗💖

Ron ( and Sheila’s entire family). I am so very heartbroken to hear the news about Sheila. I worked with her from the time that she started at Gulf Coast Hospital- when it was a small group of medical workers that cared so much for each other and their patients. We were a family that was so close. I remember many of Sheila’s pregnancies and how happy she always was to be introducing another baby in to this world. She was such a hard worker with a huge heart. I watched her romance with Ron grow as we all could see the special something in both of their smiles when Ron transported patients up to the orthopedic floor where Sheila worked. Sheila moved to the ER when she was still an LPN, and continued her education to become an RN. It was not easy for her, but she never quit. Her value as a caring nurse more than made up for her struggle to pass her test. Some things cannot be measured by a test score. Sheila made a special mark in this world and I feel very lucky to have known her and called her a friend.
Ron – and all of Sheila’s family- please know that I am praying for all of you every day. You have a special angel looking out for you from the other side. Hugs and blessings are being sent to all of you.

Truly saddened to hear of Sheila’s passing. The world will be dimmer without her light and grace. She was a rare soul with a smile and endless compassion for everyone who crossed her path.

Her interactions with patients was something special. I loved to watch her work as she tirelessly and expertly cared for their needs. It was an honor to know her.

My heart and prayers for comfort and peace go out to Ron, her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
