I am deeply saddened by the news of Sheldon passing. Prayers go out to Diane and the rest of the family. I have not seen Sheldon for 25 years since I worked at Sturm Supply with him, and then for him as owner. Always a smile, and a great sense of humor. A Bearings Man Steve would say, with pride. I am without words. There is less joy in the world without Sheldon; fewer smiles, and laughter.
One of the Smartest, Funniest, HAPPIEST, never seen him upset. Sheldon was a Great friend to me, and my kids!! Took me under his wing! He called me everyday sometimes 2. Love is a strong word I don’t use much, but I loved Sheldon and am heart broken here but I know he’s with Jesus now. He made it to the finish line, I pray the family will clinch to that, the love and forgiveness of Jesus and that a born again believer will live forever in Heaven if you believe in the Son Father and Holy Spirit, repent and live as best you can with the example of Sheldon and our Lord.
Sheldon was one of nicest man I’ve ever met he was true kind and an unbelievable soul My prayers go out to Diane and her family and his family so sad. Love you all! Tammy Heathouse
I knew Sheldon when we worked together at Miller Bearings. We spent many nights after hours at my home on the beach. He really did like looking at the ocean. He loved to laugh. He loved the movie “Blazing Saddles” as I think he knew every line in that movie. We watched “Man vs Food” while drinking some beers. He was a great friend and will be missed.
Sorry to hear of Sheldon’s passing. Lambda Chi Alpha at Glenville State was a great time for all of us.

Sheldon we sort of grew up together in your Dad’s Sturm Supply in Vienna. It was a great place to work. My Sister sent your Obituary to me and I still can’t get over it. You were much to young to pass. I’ve read about you and your family and it seems that you’ve had a good life. I wish to offer my condolences to your wife and boys. Wish I could have met them. Anyway my friend you are in a better place now, with your Dad and Mom. Tell them I said hello and just keep smiling down on the rest of us. May you Rest In Peace.
I am sorry for the loss of a good man
