Sheryl Anne Jensen

Sheryl Anne Jensen, 60, a Lee County resident for the past ten years, formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away in the comfort of her own home with her family by her side on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Cape Coral. She was born on August 1, 1954 in Syracuse, NY.

Sheryl was of the Lutheran faith. She was a very dedicated mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Her family was very important to her. She enjoyed spending time playing Bingo as well as playing her “Tornado” machine. She worked very hard all her life and was currently working at Dakas Inc. as an overnight associate for Walmart.

She is survived by her loving mother, Shirley Cloum (D.J.) of Winter Haven, Fl; three loving children, Tina Walker of Cape Coral, Kristie Gersbacher (Joe) of Fulton, NY and Amy Shultis (Craig) of Manitowoc, WI; siblings, Kenneth Svitak (Julie) of Winter Haven, FL and Darlene Bock (Ted) of Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren, Charles, Ashley, Jonathan, Marissa, Andrea, Destiny, Matthew and Michael; as well as Dixie the dog and Misty the cat.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Svitak and her sister, Julie Collins.
