Tammy Lea Aulenbach

November 2, 1962 - November 13, 2021

Tammy Lea Aulenbach, 59, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 2001, formerly of Birmingham, AL, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2021. She was born November 2, 1962 in Charleston, WV.

She was a loving and caring person who found her calling, nursing, late in life. Her greatest joy was her four grandchildren whom she both loved and adored. Tammy will always be their special Ya-Ya.

Tammy was of the Christian faith. Her favorite bible verse was “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me” – Philippians 4:13.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Aulenbach; parents, George and Ella Gregory; son, Michael Bird; daughter, Elizabeth Subbert (Brett) of Fort Myers; siblings, Chris Gregory of NC, and Patricia Ricks of FL; father-in-law, William Aulenbach of Fort Myers; grandchildren, Teagan Bird, Breanden Bird, Colton Subbert, and Brynlee Subbert; additionally, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  

Tammy was preceded in death by her beloved son, Brandan Bird in 1996.
