Teresa Gaye Moore

Teresa Gaye Moore, 56, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for 35 years, formerly of Prestonburg, KY, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Cape Coral. She was born August 11, 1965 in Prestonburg to Guyland and Thelma Meade, now deceased.

Teresa was of the Christian faith and will be remembered as a sweet, generous woman who would do anything for her family. A stay-at-home mother, she really dedicated her entire life to being the best mom she could be.

She enjoyed University of Kentucky basketball, Raiders games with her family, sewing, quilting, DIY home projects, card games and her fur baby, R.J.

She is survived by her loving husband, William Moore; children, Miranda Moore of Cape Coral, Nick Moore of Cape Coral, and Wes Moore of Cape Coral; siblings, Lisa Starnes (Tommy) of Piney Flatts, TN, Paula Sarkari (Neville) of Sarasota, FL, Guy Anthony Meade of Prestonsburg, and Garland Ryan Meade (Charlotte) of Elkhart, IN; as well as grandchildren, Gabriel Ferguson, and Dahlia Wilcox.

Teresa was preceded in death by her brother, Gabriel Christopher Meade.

No formal services are planned at this time.

    This still doesn’t seem real. From the day I was born there has always been a special connection with Teresa and I. I always felt like her daughter at just happened to live in Ky. Shes with her Mom, dad and baby brother now and it hurts to know I won’t be getting any calls, texts or pictures from. Please pray for our family and pray for her husband and babies to stay strong! The world lost a very special person. 🖤

    Sorry to hear about her passing, Thelma was a dear friend and sister in the Lord Jesus Christ good to know that she was a Christian praying for family to trust God for comfort 🙏 our only help and hope at a time like this
