Thomas Steven Wieczorek

May 25, 1954 - February 13, 2022

Thomas Steven Wieczorek, 67, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for the past ten years, formerly of Naples, FL, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 in North Fort Myers. He was born May 25, 1954 in Chicago, IL.

Thomas was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Therese Catholic Church in North Fort Myers. He graduated from Richards High School and continued his education at Moraine Valley Community College.   He loved playing the trumpet and continued his love of music by playing the electric guitar.  He also formed a band and performed at the Museum of Science and Industry Theater.  Thomas was known for being good natured, humorous, and being a very generous person.  

He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Anne Wieczorek of North Fort Myers; four siblings, Cynthia Taylor of Portage, MI, Mary Beth Bohadlo (Daniel) of Orland Park, IL, Alisa Grossi of Cape Coral, and Greg Wieczorek of North Fort Myers; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Steven Wieczorek in 2020.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 20115 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903.

Memorial Contributions in memory of Thomas Steven Wieczorek are suggested to be sent to St. Therese Catholic Church, 20115 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903 and/or the American Heart Association, PO BOX 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.

    I met Greg through my brother Paul’s friendship with you. I had a lot of good memories of hanging out and and being with you. I know you had some challenges in your life but I’ll never forget the fun and dumb things we did as youngsters. I haven’t seen you in a long time but I know you loved your family and I feel a piece of my youth went with you. Rest in peace my friend!!
