Vincent J. Esposito

Vincent Joseph Esposito, 79, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2004, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 in Cape Coral. He was born August 25, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to Vincent and Marie Esposito, now deceased.

Vincent was of the Catholic faith and was also a Veteran of The United States Army. He was born in Brooklyn, married his wife, Kathryn; had three children; built an Ice Cream Distribution business; and later retired to North Fort Myers, Florida. Vinny was a friend to all, people and animals alike. One of his great passions was to help homeless and helpless animals. He truly was loved by all, quick with a joke and a sincere willingness to be of help in any situation at any time. A true friend to all.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 57 years, Kathryn Esposito of Cape Coral; three loving children, Joe Esposito (Gina) of Long Island, NY, Catherine Esposito of Cape Coral, and Frances Mastorakis (Bill) of Long Island, NY; sister, Louise Guadagno of Staten Island, NY; nephews, Vincent, Michael, and Jimmy Esposito; as well as five grandchildren, J.T. Esposito, Logan Esposito, Elizabeth Esposito, Jessica Yethsemani Mastorakis, and Lea Marie Mastorakis.

Vincent was preceded in death by a brother, Sonny Esposito.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909.
