Dear Vivian McClain family, You can be comforted by the example of your mother who obviously loved every day dawning, her God, and her family, and lived her life fully. What a wonderful example you all had from an obviously smart, gifted woman who was only too happy to share her life with others. While mothers can never be replaced, she will remain in your hearts always. May the many memories of her bring you joy and happiness as you grieve her loss. One cannot be sad too long for a life that was so productive and well lived. That is the very best gift.

Linda, Laura and Karen, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I met her through Ancestry and e-mailed her many photos of the Dave family she helped me identify. She was totally awesome!!! We continued to correspond through e-mails and facebook. I always enjoyed her posts and daily greetings. My mom, Ruth DeBot was her first cousin. She died Feb. 1, 2019 just 2 months short of her 99th birthday. so I know the terrible loss you are feeling. I will forever remember my dear friend and 1st cousin once removed, Vivian (Viv). She will be in my thoughts and prayers always. You have my deepest sympathy.
