Walter Asbury
Walter Asbury went safely home to our Lord on October 8, 2019. He was born December 8, 1937 in Premiere, WVA to Walter Woodrow, Sr. and Lucy Asbury, now deceased.
Walter was a good, God loving family man, who will be remembered for his kindness and generosity to everyone he met. He lived his life serving others. He loved spending time at car shows in his 53 Ford Victoria.
Family and friends were very important to him. He was always welcoming no matter the time of day, and always made guests feel at home.
He is survived by a wife of 60 years, Norma
Asbury; two sons, Jeff Asbury, Jamie
Asbury, and two daughters, Chris Caldwell (Doug) and Kim Hawkins (Eric); four sisters,
Delores, Patty, Linda, and Nancy; grandchildren,
Joshua Asbury (Sharon), Felicia Asbury
(Heather), Joyce Butler, Dustin Asbury,
Justin Asbury, Emma Hawkins, Chance Hawkins, Heather Asbury; great grandchildren,
Olivia Asbury, Tristan Asbury, Adrienne Asbury,
Ryker Asbury, Peyton Asbury, Anthony Kicklighter, Jordan Butler, and Kole
Pitt; great great grandchild, Colt Pitt; a beloved sister in law, Patricia
Portnoy; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Walter was
preceded in death by his twin children, Kevin and Karen.
Memorial Services will be held 1:00
PM on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Christian Life Fellowship, 1200 SW 20th
Ave., Cape Coral, FL 33991 with Pastor David Comer officiating.
Memorial Contributions in memory of Walter Asbury are suggested to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Cir., Fort Myers, FL 33908.
Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

You and Aunt Norma were there for me when I was younger and took me in. You never were mean or harsh to me but helped me out when my life was out of control. I will always remember you. Rest in the comfort in the loving arms of Christ.

I have nothing but good memories coming and visiting with you almost every summer growing up. My thoughts and prayers go out for all of you. I know he will be greatly missed by you all.
