I want to extend my deepest sympathy for your loss. This young man was truly special to me, yet he never knew my name. I met him at a time when I was experiencing tremendous grief. My nephew committed suicide months prior and I was struggling. I walked into Subway in Buckingham and this beautiful young man, with a nametag reading, "Bill," flashed a smile and proceeded to wait on me. His eyes actually twinkled as we chatted. He reminded me of my nephew, with his red hair and soulful eyes. They were close in age. Bill was an angel to me, on a day that felt so dark. His kind nature and sweet words brought me so much comfort. I never shared my heartache with him, despite seeing him several times afterward. I raved about him to my husband, because he was an extraordinary young man. I was disappointed when I stopped at Subway one day and he no longer worked there. I realize how very strange this message may be, but felt the need to share my connection with Bill's family. I'd always hoped to run into him again someday. My heart breaks for those who loved him. May he rest in peace.

May God give the family strength at this time. My granddaughter Loren was friends with Jody. We shouldn't have to bury our kids. He was a hero that is an angel now. Fly high sweet young man.
