January 17, 1959 - November 16, 2020

William Joseph Diegelman, 61, of Shaler Township, PA, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born January 17, 1959 in Pittsburgh, PA.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Diegelman; mother, Bernice Margaret Diegelman, four children: Douglas Diegelman (Kelly) of Shaler Township, PA, Andrew Diegelman of Pittsburgh, PA, Amy Diegelman of Royersford, PA, and Samantha Steele (Tony) of Shaler Township, PA; two sisters, Sandra Klein (Richard) of East Petersburg, PA, and Shirley Diegelman of Pittsburgh, PA; as well as three grandchildren, Brady Diegelman, Anna Diegelman, and Blakesley Cantymagli.

William was preceded in death by his father, Francis Joseph Diegelman.

A champion of the Northside community, Bill was the owner of Max’s Allegheny Tavern from 1996-2015. In recent years, he enjoyed his time at camp along the Allegheny River and winters in Florida with family and friends.

Bill was the steadfast patriarch of the family, with a love for yard work, Diane’s home-cooked meals, chats on the porch with a good cup of coffee, and a desire to instill the most meaningful qualities of hard work, honesty, and kindness in his children and grandchildren.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fort Myers is entrusted with final care.
