William L. Uhl, Sr.

August 13, 1940 - March 8, 2018

William LeRoy Uhl, Sr., 77, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 25 years, formerly of Sarasota, FL, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Punta Gorda, FL. He was born August 13, 1940 in Lancaster, OH to Clement and Leona Uhl, now deceased.

William was a very STRONG MINDED MAN, he dedicated himself to his work to raise his children. He never gave up at any challenges that crossed his path. William’s occupationwas an Auto Body Technician, which he was absolutely wonderful at his profession, there was nothing in his career that would defeat him. DAD was always proud of his work he accomplished.

We will always rememberDAD being aHARDWORKER &STRONG MINDED INDIVIDUAL.DAD loved his family& devoted to his kids and Grandkids. We could never forget his Ornery behavior at times. DAD always put up a fightwith any obstacles in life that came his way untilhis very last breath.

We All Love You Very Much DAD!!! May you Rest In Peace until we meet again.

He is survived by three loving children, William L. Uhl, Jr. (Amanda) of Englewood, FL, Jerry Lee Uhl of Cape Coral, FL and Tammy S. Uhl Walker (George) of Cape Coral, FL; six grandkids, Corey Uhl, Isreal Uhl, Michael Uhl, Darrian Walker, Tianna Walker and Terrelle Walker; life companion, Lynne Campbell of Cape Coral; as well as his former wife, Carol Rosa of Englewood, FL.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 31, 2018 in The Hope Hospice Chapel, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909 with Chaplain Leo O’Boyle officiating.

    I am sorry to hear of Bills passing. I worked with him for several years. He was a hard worker that took allot of pride in his work. He was a strong-willed person, when he got his mind set on doing something he was a man that got it done, no excuses. He had great kids, Willie, Jerry and Tammy. Bill was a good friend. You will be missed Bill, Rest in Peace.
