Catherine Louise Fisher, 92, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for one year, formerly of Silverwood, MI, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024 in North Fort Myers, FL. She was born March 31, 1932 in Mayfield, KY to William Riley and Eva Pierceall, now deceased.

Catherine Louise Fisher, a beloved woman known for her creativity and passion for learning, passed away peacefully at her home. Catherine was a dedicated reader and lifelong learner who found joy in exploring new ideas and experiences.

Her artistic soul shone brightly through her painting, gardening, and sewing activities. Catherine’s garden was a colorful oasis of flowers that brought her immense joy and tranquility. She lovingly tended to her plants, nurturing them into stunning blooms that brightened the world around her.

In addition to her creative pursuits, Catherine stayed healthy by enjoying a variety of classes, from belly dancing and kickboxing to water aerobics.

Catherine dedicated over 20 years of her life to the Ford Motor Company.

Above all, Catherine held her family dear and cherished the moments spent with loved ones. She thrived in the company of those she held close, reveling in family gatherings and creating treasured memories that will be cherished forever.

Catherine found solace and inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors, where she could often be found immersed in nature’s wonders. Her thirst for knowledge led to broaden her horizons and learn more about the world.

Catherine Louise Fisher’s light will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her creativity, her love of learning, and her unwavering dedication to those she loved. May her spirit forever live on in the memories and stories shared by those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her three children, Pamela Brothers (Larry) of North Fort Myers, FL, Denise Dolan of North Fort Myers, FL, and Ruth Hensley of Cincinnati, OH; son-in-law, Carl White of Carpentersville, IL; six grandchildren, Lance, Heidi, Wendy, Melody, Briana, and Danielle; thirteen great-grandchildren, Austin, Parker, Jack, Courtney, Mason, Adeline, Hailey, Lucy, Henry, Adrianna, McKenzie, Jaymir and Ellie; three great-great-grandchildren, Hayden, Monty and Skylar; as well as many cousins.

Catherine was preceded in death by her loving husband, James D. Fisher in 2011; her daughter, Theresa White; grandson, Nicholas Hensley; and nine siblings.

A Celebration of Life will be held in MI later this summer, 2024. Details to be announced via www.MullinsMemorial.com.

    She was a beautiful and wise soul, who gravitated toward light and love. She was also the last of the Riley siblings who made fun, life and a big, loving family the center of our lives. I was so blessed to have her and Uncle Jim in my world.
