Elaine Ruth Stoll

Elaine Ruth Stoll, 82, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1981, formerly of Massachusetts, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born May 16, 1941 in Adams, MA to Bernard and Helen Langner, now deceased.

Elaine was a member and former deacon at Faith Presbyterian Church in Cape Coral Florida. She had a varied career and accomplishments. She retired from Fort Meyers News Press in 2007. She served the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary from 1995 to approximately 2001. She was a former librarian and had a great love of reading and books. She found joy in looking at architecture and the moon, and the color green. Although raised in Massachusetts, she found herself very much at home in Florida where she had been residing since around 1981. She will be missed by many friends and family that grew to include her step children as well.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Coffler of Bellevue, WA, Laura Nugent (husband, Daniel) of Starksboro, VT, Maureen Curtis of Cape Coral, FL, and Nancy Adams, US Army retired, of Jessup, MD; her sister, Claire Williams of North Bennington, VT; as well as six grandchildren, Jarrett Curtis, Alec Curtis, Danny Nugent, Akiva Nugent, Jacob Coffler, and Noah Coffler. She is additionally survived by a number step children and grandchildren with husband, preceding her in death in 2012, Richard Stoll.

    Mom I love you and I miss you so much, I’m very thankful that I moved down here in 1998 to be with you. And I thank you for living with me for the past 11 years. Thank you for helping me out with my boys and my cats and my dogs. Remember I love you and baskets a kisses. You’ll always be in my heart and soul 💗
