Emilee “Lee” Louise Rindos

Emilee Louise Rindos, known to most as “LEE”, 94, a Cape Coral resident since 2006, formerly of Buffalo, NY, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Cape Coral. She was born December 11, 1919 in Buffalo, NY to Thomas and Frances Miedanowski, now deceased.

Emilee was of the Catholic faith. She was the owner and operator of Boot’s Tavern also known as Miedanowksi’s. She was an avid bowler and was a NY State doubles winner in 1972 with her partner Diane Westphal. Emilee was a fearless competitor playing pool or pinochle. She also loved playing Bingo.

She is survived by her son Thomas Rindos of Cape Coral, FL; two grandchildren, Terri Buford of Odessa, FL and Susan Anderson of Cape Coral, FL; as well as two great grandchildren, Kourtney Natarelli and MaKenna Anderson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Joseph Miedanowski, and two sisters, Florence Graves and Olga Meadows.

No formal service are planned at this time.

    Emily was loved by so many, including me and my mom who worked for her and bowled with her.
