Ernest William White
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ernest W. White on August 30th, 2024, in North Fort Myers, Florida. Ernest, affectionately known as Ernie, grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts. He had a profound passion for music and began playing the guitar in the Boston area at the age of 15, a pursuit he continued throughout his life. Ernie honorably served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969.
Ernie was preceded in death by father, Ernest White; and mother, Alice Wilson.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 42 years, Janine White; brother, Michael White (Valerie); children, Marne Coover-Faber (Melissa), and Clayton White; grandchildren, Brandon, Caleb, and Jonah; great-grandchild Tristan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the American Legion Post #336, 5770 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33917.
Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

This man was a good friend and fellow musician. I am so saddened as I just found out today May 8. He will be missed dearly.

Ernie was a great person and a wonderful musician. I will always cherish the many, many years of friendship, music and laughs. Fly high, Ernie.
So glad we reconnected with Janine after years of not seeing each other. Because of this we got to know Ernie. Such a sweet, gentle man. He will be missed by so many.
