Matthew Ryan Overacker

Matthew Ryan Overacker, 24, a Cape Coral resident for the past 4 years, formerly of Cottage Grove, OR, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 3, 2014 in New Orleans, LA. He was born July 19, 1989 in Granda Hills, CA.

Matthew drew people towards him with his smile, and his unbelievable way of making you know how much he truly cared about everyone he was with. Even though there is a piece missing from all who loved him, he definitely left us with more than he took. Matthew loved his music, and we loved him for it. He touched so many lives with his vibrant personality, and although he is gone from us he will never be forgotten. We love you “Matty O”!

He is survived by his mother, Cathy Kraude of CA; father, John Overacker of OR; sister, Jennifer Serrago (Michael) of Cape Coral; brother, Wesley Kraude of CA; nieces, Alyssa Serrago, Halie Kraude, Katie Kraude and nephew, Brandon Serrago, both of Cape Coral.
