Phillip Howard Blanc

June 15, 1956 - August 29, 2014

Phillip Howard Blanc, 58, a resident of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 in Cape Coral. He was born June 15, 1956 in Chicago, IL.

Phillip, after 20 years of service, retired as Deputy Chief of the San Carlos Park Fire Protection and Rescue Service District. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed golfing and shooting.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Marianne Blanc of Cape Coral; one son, Dominic Blanc; three brothers, Curtis Blanc (Karen) of Cadiz, KY, Walter Blanc (Ginanne) of Cape Coral, and Brett Blanc (Debora) also of Cape Coral; nine nieces and nephews; as well as four great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Florida Fire and Emergency Service Foundation, 880 Airport Road, Ste.110, Ormond Beach, Fl.32174. Please note on the memo line that the donations are for the Fallen Firefighters Memorial at the Capitol.
