My sincere condolences to the family of Chef Tracey.
I never had the opportunity to meet “Chef”, like my son called him, but I heard a lot about him through my son. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to speak to him on the phone. While speaking to him, I learned that he wasn’t just a Chef or manager for my son, he was actually a role model and someone who cared.
Chef Tracey took a liking to my son during the short time he worked with him. He gave my son advise and really tried to keep him motivated.
He didn’t have to do that but he did. Even though I didn’t get to know him, the few minutes we spoke made a lasting impression on me. “Chef” was a caring person, and his work and dedication is admirable.

He will be missed. God bless his family and friends.

Prayers to the family. We’ve had great times, we’ve had not so great times but shared the same passion for the industry. It saddens me to hear of your passing through social media, we kept in touch sporadically throughout the years but that’s what true homies do. Til we click our tongs again rest easy my boy.

I met him a few years ago. We became good friends. We actually lived with him for a few months after the hurricane here. This morning I went to see his son to support him somehow and my world got blown up to find out his SON died last night.
    RIP fam.
You are now together in heaven
