Dennis “Denny” Charles Reagan

January 11, 1948 - February 7, 2022

Dennis “Denny” Charles Reagan, 74, a seasonal resident of Cape Coral, FL and a lifelong resident of Minnesota, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, in Cape Coral. He was born January 11, 1948, in Crosby, MN to Tom and Marge Reagan, now deceased.

Denny was a kind, strong, man with an infectious laugh and smile. His presence brightened any room he entered. Denny spent most of his career in sales. Whether it was his work or personal life he always approached them the same. Arrive early for everything, build lasting relationships, give your very best, have fun with everything you do, always finish the job, and take care of others around you. He loved the outdoors, sunsets, feeding the deer at his cabin and golfing in the summertime. Denny built his cabin in northern Minnesota and loved boating, very large bonfires, and spending time with friends and family enjoying a cocktail in a very large glass. Every person who has met Denny has a funny “Denny Story.” He was the ultimate storyteller and jokester. “Beebs” as he was often referred to by his longtime Iron Range friends was someone who went the extra mile to help anyone in need. He loved being a grandpa to his five grandsons and being a part of their school and sporting activities. He lived life with no regrets and always said, “None of us are getting out of this thing alive and if I go today I have had a great life.” He will be missed by so many friends and family.

Denny is survived by his loving companion, Jean Enloe of Cape Coral and Eshquaguma; mother of his children, Wendy Reagan of Gold Canyon, AZ; daughters, Kelly Reagan (Kristina) of Mahtomedi, MN, and Katie Reagan of Shakopee, MN; siblings, Kevin Reagan (Becky) of Blaine, MN, Shan Smilanich of Savage, MN, and Kathy Young of Chesapeake, VA; several nieces and nephews; as well as five grandsons, Noah, Ryan, Tanner, Parker, and Khalil.

A celebration of Denny’s life will be held later this summer at Lake Eshquaguma Country Club in Gilbert, Minnesota. Details to be announced via www.MullinsMemorial.com and FaceBook.

We all have fun memories of Denny! He was a great friend! The Nelson’s and the Reagan’s had many super times, growing up as neighbors. We are so happy that he is no longer in pain, but will miss his smiling face. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My husband (John Stimac) and I considered Denny (and Wendy) Reagan to be major catalysts of our great love affair which lasted until John died in 2013. Both teachers at the time (1970), I would drive to Minneapolis from my humble internship teaching job in Hinckley. John and I would stay at Denny and Wendy’s apartment for the weekend. And WOW what weekends we four had!!!

Denny was a born storyteller, supreme joke teller, and above all else, fiercely loved his family, each one of their unique traits, their potential, and how much they meant to him and made him the happy person he was.

He made a meaningful mark on all of our lives.

Denny was such a friendly, fun-loving guy! I have good memories of time spent with Wendy and Denny years ago. Denny always had a big bear hug for me, whenever we ran into each other over the years. He had a big smile for everyone he knew.
My sincere sympathy to his family.

Denny was always a delight to be around. We had a few conversations about the range at various 5th of July celebrations. How much Aurora and the range towns put into the celebrations and how much we loved coming back to the range and seeing old friends. Remember all of the good times you shared with him.

“ Cousin Denny” Larger than life…Always a smiling face with cute dimples. As everyone shared he was a special guy and loved by many including me. Anytime he was in Crosby he stopped by my mothers place to take her to lunch (Pat Reagan). He loved family and people in general . He is now at peace and with his peeps.

Love Ann or as Denny called me Anner Bannaner!

What a wonderful Tribute. Kelly your dad sounds like an incredible man who left his mark on many hearts. May those memories carry you through your tough days. He is certainly wrapped in the arms of God, may that bring your enormous comfort to you and your family. Many hugs from Dave and I.

Denny is the kind of man to which an obituary cannot do justice, no matter how beautifully written it is. And his is first rate. He was an ardent supporter of all things Range, well-informed of the issues, always happy and friendly, and as genuine a person as one will ever meet. He will be missed.
