Jane was a constant presence at the Xavier welcome table and was known by all the guests and volunteers as a stern but loving guardian and fierce defender of the neediest among us. May she rest in peace

We were very sorry to hear that Mrs. Sherman had passed away. Before the Covid-19 situation we were blessed to be able to visit her frequently at Gulf Coast Village. My wife Myriam cleaned her home since 2013 until she was no longer capable of living by herself. Mrs. Sherman was always kind and loving to us and we will miss her very much.
We hope that all of her relatives take comfort knowing that she was loved during the time she lived in Fort Myers.

I am one of her CNA when she was in Palmview. I visited her 2-3 times when she moved to Skilled Nursing. I loved her. She requested for me to care for her whenever I’m scheduled to work in a different hallway. She’’s a remarkable, smart and loving woman. I was planning to visit her when covid hits and I was actually planning to visit her because I didn’t know that she passed away. May perpetual light shine upon her and May her soul RIP.
