Kristi Davis Cottrill

Kristi Davis Cottrill, 59, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL since 1981, formerly of Milwaukee, WI, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born August 2, 1962, in Milwaukee to Douglas and Patricia Bahr, now deceased.

Kristi was a member of Faith Assembly of God in North Fort Myers, where she served as a choir member, frequent volunteer, and Bible study attendee. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, whether it was out to dinner and a movie, camping, shopping, getting a pedicure or massage, or laying by the pool. At her workplace, Kristi is remembered as a bold, strong, and consistent leader, who always showed empathy and interest in the lives of her staff, who dearly loved her. At home, Kristi is remembered for her steadfast Christian example, selflessness, and generosity, as well as her a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and confidence in speaking her mind.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Jim Cottrill of North Fort Myers; three loving children, Tracy Bray of North Fort Myers, James Cottrill (Deivis) of North Fort Myers, and Jessica Gil (Gilberto) of Cape Coral; siblings, Lori Sturgeon of North Fort Myers, Steve Davis (Cindy) of Milwaukee, Vicki Bubar (Bob) of North Fort Myers, and Scott Davis (Rose) of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Logan, Hannah, and Haven; nieces and nephews, Josh, Bryan, Fallan, Marcus, Steven, Angela, Rob, TJ, Michael, Tiffany, and Nikki; several great nieces and nephews; as well as her dog companion, Duncan, and cat, Cocoa.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:15 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Faith Assembly of God, 6950 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33917, with Pastor Steve Anderson officiating.

    Kristi was my close friend and she will forever hold a very special place in my heart. I will always remember her and I will forever cherish the memories we have made together.. She is gone way too soon. We were preparing for our retirement and planning on how we would spend our time.hanging out together with our grandchildren.. My thoughts and prayers to her family.     I am so saddened to hear about this. Kate told me about her recent diagnosis. She has left us way too soon and my thoughts and prayers are with Jim and the whole family. Both were wonderful neighbors here in Foxmoor Lakes.

    She was a phenomenal leader and friend. She made me laugh until I cried sometimes. She loved her family and she took care of her people. I will miss her and am so glad to have known her.

    Will remember the first time I meet u u did my interview and I was so nervous but u mad me feel like I was sitting at the kitchen table with a friend u always had a smile on ur face and never judged anyone … I will be greatly missed 😢
