I worked with Norman over 35 years ago when he was at Channel Home Centers. He was a very kind and caring person. I remember one time my mom was very ill and he sent me home with a box of candy and a stuffed dog for her! It was such a “Norman” thing to do. Although I have not seen him in many many years, I was heart broken to hear of his passing. My condolences to his entire family.

Unfortunately I just saw this! I would have very much liked to pay my respects to the family. I was very fond of Norm having been from Long Island, and also born in Brooklyn, we had a lot in common. Norm always had a smile, and never failed to say”Hey Long Island “. Every time he saw me. He will always be remembered at the Fort Myers P&DC! May he rest in peace

  20. Lynne Cram Dec 30, 2019 at 6:14 pm

I am so saddened to hear of Norm’s passing. I also spent around 10 years working on the same machine with him. He was such a hard worker, he never complained about anything (unless he got mandatory overtime) and who doesn’t complain about that! He’d greet me by saying, “Hey, Rock and Roll!” Or he’d sing like Mick Jagger, 🎵 “I know. It’s only rock and roll, but Lynne likes it.”🎸
I am glad he had at least a couple of years to enjoy his retirement, He deserved a lot more time than he got.
My condolences to his whole family.
