Ronald Curtis Gillingham

January 4, 1948 - June 3, 2020

Ronald Curtis Gillingham, 72, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 27 years, formerly of Clements, MD, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in Cape Coral. He was born January 4, 1948 in Baltimore, MD to William and Nora Gillingham, now deceased.

Ronald was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. He was a very special soul, a loving father and a loyal friend. There was not a person he met that wasn’t touched by his kindness. This day we lost a wonderful person but Heaven gained a perfect Angel. While he was here he enjoined spending time with his family and friends whether it was a car show, gun show, shooting range, interacting with his co-workers/guests at work or watching baseball(his favorite team was New York Yankees) on TV. He was happiest when sharing all of this with family and friends. He will truly be missed and was completely and utterly loved.

He is survived by two loving children, William Gillingham of Cape Coral, and Christopher Gillingham of Orlando, FL; as well as five sisters, Doris McGill, Betty Miller, Mary Lou Collins, Nancy Barth, and Dottie Morgan.

No formal services are planned at this time.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

I really going to miss Ron. I knew Ron since grade school at Leonardtown High School. I’m sorry I didn’t get him and Billy this past fall at the shooting range. We’re going to miss a great and kind man and friend.
