Scott Donald Palmer

July 29, 1961 - May 7, 2021

Scott Donald Palmer, 59, a resident of Cape Coral, Florida, for the past 25 years, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 7, 2021. He was born July 29, 1961, in Long Island, NY, to Walter Charles and Mary Jane Palmer, now deceased.

Scott was of Catholic faith and attended Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral. He was a good brother, worker, and friend. Scott was kind, generous, and comical. He found solace donating time to Vineyard’s restoration projects. Scott had a big heart and wouldn’t hesitate to help others in need, when he, himself, struggled through difficult times. Scott was a skilled “Jack of all Trades” who rarely said “it can’t be done”. Scott will be deeply missed by friends, family, and those who knew him.

He is survived by his siblings, Christine Cronk (Greg) of Centereach, NY, Gordon Palmer (Terri) of Fort Myers, Florida, Dusty Palmer (Doreen) of Wallingford, CT, John Palmer (Anne) of Cape Coral, and Craig Palmer (Cheryl) of Selden, NY; as well as a large and loving extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details to be announced via www.MullinsMemorial.com.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

May you rest in peace my old friend. I remember when you first went to work painting for Frank Connelly across the street. From there you learned to do so many useful things by yourself. You became a “Do Anything” Man. We had some great times staying out all night, doing the Bun Run with Jimmy Merrill and Scott Sapp. You were funny and quick witted. Now, you are just making them laugh elsewhere. Rest Easy Buddy.
