William Scott Yanker
William Scott Yanker, 63, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past two years, formerly of Denver, CO, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Cape Coral. He was born December 8, 1957 in Denver, Co to William and Irene Yanker, now deceased.
William was of the Christian faith. He was born and raised in Colorado. After completing high school, he followed his father’s footsteps and became a Master Plumber. Scott retired two years ago and moved to Cape Coral, FL where his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a man with a huge heart and genuine soul. He will be missed by friends, family, and all who were blessed to know him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Bailey of Cape Coral; five loving children, Steven Yanker (Michelle) of Miami, FL, Deena McNelis of Naples, FL, James Bailey (Colleen) of Cedar burg, WI, Michael Bailey (Dawn) of Lyman, SC, and Andrew Bailey (Danielle) of St. Francis, KS; three siblings, Tamalene Giovanni of Bozeman, MT, Douglas Yanker of Denver, CO, and Corene Nyberg (and her fiance, Tommy Shepard) of Cape Coral; eleven grandchildren, Aaron, Hayes, Madison, Grace, Patrick, Austin, Robert, Emily, Paris, Andrew, and William; one great granddaughter, Eva; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Pastor Lee Carnahan officiating.
Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.
